Iris Ceramica Group voted by consumers one of 44 most ethical companies to be included in Index Future Respect 2020

The informed governance that has defined Iris Ceramica Group from the very beginning has been rewarded by Holding’s Sustainability Report being included in Index Future Respect 2020, the index for corporate best practice and examples of successful non-financial activities.

Now in its third year, ConsumerLab’s Index Future Respect appraises and compiles a list of companies which engage most closely with ethical issues. Selected by a pool of 250 consumer experts, the survey is particularly influenced by the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development goals.

Iris Ceramica Group’s Sustainability Report was selected from 210 reports published in 2020 covering the 2019 fiscal year, and is one of 44 considered most impressive and commendable.

Numerous reasons induced consumers to select Iris Ceramica Group as one of the foremost companies with a management team who respect the future and are concerned with the common good. These include comprehensive sustainable governance, good practice in promoting a culture of sustainability, and an effective, engaging and distinctive narrative to guide consumer choice.

They explain that Iris Ceramica Group’s Sustainability Report “is proof of a sound, honorable, far-sighted and generous company that deserves consumer recognition; especially at this difficult time (Covid-19) since it inspires trust and promotes responsible lifestyles”.

Recognition that has recently caught the attention of prestigious Italian financial publications, and which rewards years of research and technological innovation, commitment to a determined, shared culture of sustainability and meticulous attention to corporate social responsibility; the key to inclusion and development.

Two of the Group’s projects in recent years particularly stand out due to their focus on the common good: Zero Emissions and ACTIVE SURFACES. Ahead of its time, with Zero Emissions the Group led the way for all companies in the sector. Equipping its manufacturing plant with three of the latest generation combustion chambers with regenerative thermal recovery ensures exceptional efficiency in the abatement of volatile organic molecules present in fumes and even odors. The second, launched over ten years ago and developed continually ever since, is the manufacture of photocatalytic ceramics with antibacterial, antiviral, anti-pollution, anti-odor and self-cleaning properties. This successful, wholly-Italian research resulted from the combined endeavors of Iris Ceramica Group and the Department of Chemistry, University of Milan.

We are honored to be selected by Consumers for Index Future Respect 2020” said Federica Minozzi, CEO of the Group. “This highly esteemed certification confirms that our Holding’s colossal endeavors are recognized and appreciated. We will strive to continue to have a positive impact on people’s lives through transparent, informed and sustainable governance which always looks to the future.”.
