Federica Minozzi speaks at TEDxModena Salon

Iris Ceramica Group CEO Federica Minozzi will be among the prominent speakers featured at the first TEDxModenaSalon hosted by the city of Carpi. The event, entitled “Human Beauty in the age of machines”, will look at Economics 0.0 and the possibility of building a sustainable economy based on creative and cultural human capital. The event is scheduled for 18:00 on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the splendid setting of San Rocco Auditorium in Carpi.

Iris Ceramica Group CEO Federica Minozzi will be one of the prominent speakers at TEDxModena Salon, an event included in a series of multimedia initiatives organised by TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), a non-profit organisation established 25 years ago to promote “Ideas of Value” that can make a difference in the world.

The panel of prestigious speakers includes figures selected for their ability to innovate in communication, in the design of large-scale installations and in the implementation of “digital” activities in companies.

Federica Minozzi, who was awarded the prize for innovation in the 21st “EY Entrepreneur of the Year” programme in November 2017, will explain her point of view on the theme of the event, the purpose of which is to encourage young people to be enterprising and to believe that in response to the increasing digitalisation of tools for work and communication, the principal resource of any sustainable economy must be human culture and creativity. The Iris Ceramica Group has demonstrated an ability to expand the confines of ceramics by creating products combining innovation with an ability to redesign styles and functions, making sustainability an important pillar of the company’s competitiveness.

Along with Federica Minozzi, the debate about the human factor in the age of automation will see the participation of Monique Calisti, CEO of Martel in Zurich and an expert on innovation, Tiziano Bursi, professor of International Marketing in the Economics Department at Unimore, Mario Catarozzo, a coach and trainer, and Edwin Maria Colella, an innovator.
