"WINTER IN BLOOM": WAX ART MEETS CRAFT DESIGN IN BERLIN

To celebrate the arrival of winter and the festive period, the ICG Gallery in Berlin will be hosting “Winter in Bloom”, a creative event focusing on craft traditions.

On 5 December, from 6 to 10 pm, the London-based contemporary artist Lola Lely will personally hold an interactive, experiential Wax Atelier workshop, engaging participants in the creation of festive botanical beeswax candles.

The free workshop, reserved for 30 registered participants, will offer the chance to design botanical forms using beeswax sheets, winter berries and delicate petals, creating candles with a unique design and a festive appeal. The workshop not only teaches wax modelling techniques but also offers a break from the hectic rhythms of everyday life, rediscovering the beauty of meditative crafts.

Each participant will then be able to place their candle in an Iris Ceramica Bottega d’Arte terracotta bowl to create an exclusive and personal centrepiece for the table, becoming a special souvenir to take home at the end of the event.

Winter in Bloom is an invitation to discover and celebrate the essence of winter, with all the colours, peace and rest we associate with this season. It is an opportunity for enjoying a harmonious experience for ourselves and others in the ICG Gallery, a space with an innovative and multi-sensory design.
