Iris Ceramica Group “Regional Ambassador” of the region of Emilia Romagna

Iris Ceramica Group has earned the prestigious title of “Regional Ambassador” of the region of Emilia Romagna under the “100 Mete d’Italia” project rewarding companies which promote their region and community.

“An example of Italy protecting its roots and making the most of its excellence in production, adopting strategies that protect the environment and landscape”. This is the reason for the appointment of the Iris Ceramica Group as “Regional Ambassador” of the region of Emilia Romagna. The presentation took place in the majestic Koch Hall in Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic of Italy, during the official ceremony marking the second edition of the 100 Mete d’Italia prize.
This prestigious title is presented to a company representing each of the regions of Italy that stands out for its ability to make an active contribution and provide incentives for development and cohesion of the community, working toward an original, authentic vision of the future while maintaining strong roots in the community where it works.

The appointment of Iris Ceramica Group CEO Federica Minozzi as “Regional Ambassador” confirms the prestige of the leading Italian porcelain and high-tech ceramic manufacturer founded by Romano Minozzi in 1961 that has been exporting the excellence of the region of Emilia Romagna and Italian craftsmanship all over the world.
The award crowns the company’s success story and range of quality products, along with its commitment and major investment in achieving the recent milestone of zero impact production, with a way of doing business that has always put the focus on people, communities and improvement of quality of life.

The ceremony, held in the presence of an Honour Committee of 100 mayors, authorities and the press, was supported by numerous institutions including the Senate of the Republic of Italy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, the Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policy, the National Association of Italian Municipalities, the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the environmental association Legambiente.
