THE LONDON ICG GALLERY HOSTS BUSINESSLDN EVENT WITH THE CLIMATE CHANGE COMMITTEE

BusinessLDN, the non-profit organisation working to make London the best city in the world to live, work and do business, organised the event at the Old Street Gallery, bringing together leading sustainability experts and advocates from its network of corporate partners.

The roundtable welcomed Dr Eoine Devane, Team Leader for Carbon Budgets at the Climate Change Committee (CCC) – the independent statutory body that advises the UK Government on emissions targets and reports to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Dr Devane, who leads cross-sector analysis to develop decarbonisation pathways and assess policy progress, provided an insightful overview of the importance of “carbon budgeting” in shaping effective climate strategies. He emphasised the value of evidence-based policy advice and engaged participants in a discussion on the challenges and opportunities to accelerate emissions reduction.

Also taking part in the roundtable was Iris Ceramica Group CEO Federica Minozzi, who reaffirmed the Group’s strong commitment to sustainability goals and its crucial role within the broader international context.
