IRIS CERAMICA GROUP IS PARTNER OF FRAME AWARDS 2020

Frame Awards 2020 is the international interior design contest that selects the best interior design projects created by established and emerging design studios from all over the world. The projects are carefully selected and then evaluated by a jury of designers, industry experts and managers of prestigious industrial companies, followed by an award ceremony which, this year, will be held on February 19 and 20.

The Frame Awards event is not only an occasion to celebrate the winners but also an opportunity for designers and companies to learn more and exchange ideas during a two-day event dedicated to innovation in the design of retail outlets, workspaces, and public and private places. Sharing experiences is the approach chosen by Frame to liven up an extensive program of conferences, workshops, installations, masterclasses and accounts of experiences.

In today’s increasingly complex social and economic environment, there is evidence of a “client-designer” relationship in which the professional takes on a key role in guiding brands and companies to rethink their spaces so that they can express themselves in a more emotional way, with a view to offering hospitality and comfort to their users.

Iris Ceramica Group has chosen to participate in the event as Societal Awards Category Sponsor since it shares the same values. In fact, the Group supports values such as sustainability, ethical responsibility and personal well-being, and aims to promote them also with the support of initiatives such as this one.

The rich program of the Frame Awards 2020 also includes a talk session entitled “Life support: surfaces that create healthier habitats” held by Professor Claudia Bianchi (Department of Chemistry – University of Milan) and Valentino Capucci (R&D Manager of Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™) on the contribution of our eco-active surfaces to protecting individuals in living spaces.
