IRIS CERAMICA GROUP AMONG THE GREEN STARS 2022

Iris Ceramica Group is confirmed as one of Italy’s most sustainable businesses according to Green Star 2022, the ranking list drawn up by the Istituto Tedesco Qualità Finanza (ITQF) with its media partner Repubblica – Affari e Finanza.

This major research project, now in its second edition, was conducted using the social listening technique, and is based on a sample of 2,000 businesses, analysing 30 criteria including ecological, economic and social sustainability, innovation and technology. The ranking list is based on four categories of indicators used to identify the companies that have made the most effort to minimise the impact of their activities on the environment and society.

The inclusion of Iris Ceramica Group in the Green Stars is yet another confirmation of the company’s commitment to putting the principles of sustainable innovation – the value that has always distinguished its identity – into practice. The most recent concrete examples include the production of eco-active ceramic surfaces (Active Surfaces®), Zero-Emissions production, the very recent cooperation with the famous journal MIT Technology Review of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for The Green Future Index 2022 and the project of the world’s first ceramics factory fuelled by green hydrogen.
