CALL FOR ENTRIES TO “THE ARCHITECTURE DRAWING PRIZE 2025”

After a two-year hiatus, entries are now open for The Architecture Drawing Prize 2025. Established in 2017, the Prize returns to celebrate the art of architectural drawing in all its forms. Iris Ceramica Group is the Main Sponsor of the initiative, which is organised and promoted by Make Architects, the Sir John Soane’s Museum, and the World Architecture Festival (WAF).

Submissions are open until 12 September 2025, and entries are welcome from architects, designers, and students around the world. Recognising the ongoing evolution of architectural drawing – including the growing influence of AI – this year’s edition will be judged as a whole, without division into categories. A special prize for hand drawing will be awarded, paying tribute to the original inspiration behind the Prize.

This year’s distinguished jury includes Federica Minozzi, CEO of Iris Ceramica Group, alongside: Ken Shuttleworth, founder of Make Architects; artists Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell; Lily Jencks, founder of Lily Jencks Studio; Narinder Sagoo, Head of Design Communications at Foster + Partners; Louise Stewart, Head of Exhibitions at Sir John Soane’s Museum; and Paul Finch, WAF Programme Director and Jury Chair.

The list of finalists and winners will be announced in October and showcased at the World Architecture Festival in Miami from 12 to 14 November 2025. The 2025 overall winner will be announced at the preview of The Architecture Drawing Prize exhibition at the Sir John Soane’s Museum, running from 28 January to 15 February 2026, featuring a curated selection of winning and shortlisted entries.
