FUORISALONE 2024: POESIS MATERIAE BY ZAHA HADID DESIGN AND THE NEW ICG GALLERY MILANO

From 15 to 21 April, Iris Ceramica Group will be taking part in Fuorisalone 2024, the international event devoted to the design community, the theme of which, “Materia Natura”, promotes an aware design culture, showcasing sustainability as a guiding principle and fundamental value in the creative and design process.

Set against the attractive Piazza dei Mercanti, Iris Ceramica Group presents the installation POESIS MATERIAE designed by Zaha Hadid Design: a unique project celebrating ceramics as a natural and sustainable poetic material and exploring their infinite possibilities of use by expressing its most noble technical qualities of strength and flexibility.

POESIS MATERIAE expresses the potential dynamism of ceramic slabs by rethinking them in motion. The unexpectedly sinuous forms of the ZHD installation create a landscape of wonder that you can stroll through and almost get lost: a celebration of genius and spontaneity, and especially of the versatility, durability and sustainability of ceramic material.

The experience continues just a stone’s throw away at the new ICG Gallery Milano, in Via Santa Margherita 4, which reveals its new concept expressing the artistic and technological soul of Iris Ceramica Group. #UnlockTheExperience becomes the key for discovering the three floors of the new showroom, where the real and the virtual blend to offer visitors a unique “phygital” experience.

A place in which the Group’s values and vision take shape, colour and consistency, which during the Fuorisalone week stages a series of events devoted to the sustainable future of architecture.
