FIVE ICG GALLERIES IN THE “WINTER ALCHEMY” PROJECT
The Iris Ceramica Group ICG Galleries dress up for the holidays in the European cities. Inspired by the concept “Winter Alchemy – The Magical Painting”, their windows have been placed in the magical creative hands of some internationally renowned artists. The five European showrooms in Milan, Paris, London, Berlin and Marbella trace a magical path that turns windows into gold.
“The Magical Journey” that began at Cersaie and continued on to Dubai now comes to Europe, taking on a new form through art. Five international artists invited to interpret the holiday climate in a non-conventional manner, using the idea of magical transformation: a Winter Alchemy. The transparent external windows become the canvas on which each one draws their own vision, using the four colours of the alchemic journey: black, white, red and gold.
- Milan – Joanne Elizabeth Shipp will create a window with her unmistakeable style: a composition of micro-drawings, icons and symbols that weave together in a landscape steeped in meaning.
- Paris – Héléna Soubeyrand brings her fluid and poetic art, with a single continuous mark that runs across the glass like a dance, inspired by nature and human essence.
- Berlin – Daniela Spoto interprets the alchemic journey with richly decorated evocative illustrations, faces and objects that talk straight to the heart.
- London – Jessica Rose Bird paints a work blending fashion, style and the urban spirit of the trendsetting city par excellence with her contemporary sensitivity.
- Marbella – Manila Wall Art turns the window into a large mural, treated as an active wall that expresses its own high-impact art.
Alongside these artistic windows, art joins with the values of solidarity and inclusion, with the contribution of the Quarto Fuoco® project. In the ICG Galleries, the Christmas trees traditionally displayed during the holidays are decorated with the ceramic baubles created by the people from the associations joining the project sponsored by Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group ETS.
“Winter Alchemy” is therefore a magical journey connecting these five cities, each with its own artistic and visual language, but sharing the same alchemy: turning urban spaces into an experience of shared beauty and amazement.
