THE NAMES OF THE WINNERS OF THE ARCHITECTURE DRAWING PRIZE 2025 ARE ANNOUNCED

The panel announced the names of the winners of The Architecture Drawing Prize 2025: supported by Iris Ceramica Group, this international initiative is organised and promoted by Make Architects, Sir John Soane’s Museum in London along with the World Architecture Festival (WAF).

Recognising the continuous evolution of architectural design – and the growing impact of artificial intelligence tools and techniques, this year the works were not divided into categories. The WAF invited candidates to submit drawings of all types and formats – from conceptual to technical or construction drawings, from axonometries to perspective views – assessing architects, designers and students according to their technical competence, the originality of their approach and their ability to transmit an architectural idea.

This year the panel members were: Federica Minozzi, CEO of Iris Ceramica Group; Ken Shuttleworth, founder of Make Architects; the artists Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell; Lily Jencks, founder of Lily Jencks Studio; Narinder Sagoo, Head of Design Communications at Foster + Partners; Erin McKellar, Assistant Curator of Exhibitions at Sir John Soane’s Museum; and Paul Finch, Programme Director of the WAF and Chairman of the panel.

The selected works will be on show at the World Architecture Festival in Miami from 12 to 14 November 2025. The absolute winner of 2025 will be announced during the preview of The Architecture Drawing Prize exhibition at the Sir John Soane’s Museum, from 28 January to 15 February 2026, where a selection of winning projects and finalists will be presented.
