IRIS CERAMICA GROUP RECEIVES THE PIMBY GREEN 2025 AWARD
With its H2 Factory® project, Iris Ceramica Group has won the “PIMBY (Please In My Back Yard) Green 2025” Award promoted by Assoambiente, the association that represents businesses working in the urban hygiene, recycling, circular economy, waste disposal and reclamation sectors. Now in its sixth edition, the Award promotes the “Please In My Back Yard” culture, rewarding those who invest in innovation and sustainability to improve the country’s competitive performance.
The award in fact aims to reward those projects that blend progress, sustainability and social acceptance, contributing to the country’s competitive performance and the well-being of its communities.
Iris Ceramica Group was awarded this prize thanks to its H2 Factory® project: the world’s first ceramics factory powered by green hydrogen, and the symbol of the Group’s commitment to decarbonisation, the energy transition and the ceramics industry of the future.
The PIMBY Green 2025 award is given to outstanding companies in three categories:
- Design and implementation of strategic infrastructures for the territory and technologically advanced industrial plants;
- Positive and responsible citizen engagement
- Transparent, scientific information
