IRIS CERAMICA GROUP HAS PUBLISHED ITS UPDATED EPD

Iris Ceramica Group has concluded the procedure for updating and publication its EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration), audited by Bureau Veritas Italia S.p.A., for its materials manufactured in the production sites in Italy and Germany.

These Environmental Product Declarations are compliant with the international standard ISO 14025, based on the international LCA – Life Cycle Assessment standards, according to a “cradle to grave” approach. This assesses the environmental performance of the material during its life cycle, considering the whole value chain (from raw material extraction to end-of-life) in a transparent, comparable and objective manner.

These declarations were published on the website www.environdec.com which identifies the International EPD® System Programme Operator, recognised globally, and which guarantees the truth of the information.

The Group’s commitment to a better present and future is confirmed once more by the data collected to update the declarations, showing how these natural materials are manufactured consistently with ESG criteria.
