IRIS CERAMICA GROUP OBTAINS THE GENDER EQUALITY CERTIFICATION

Iris Ceramica Group, on behalf of its subsidiary Graniti Fiandre S.p.A., is proud to announce it has obtained the Gender Equality Certification.

The certification is based on UNI/PdR 125:2022, the Italian reference standard for the implementation of working environments guaranteeing equal opportunities and a fairer representation of genders in the organisation.

Published in 2022, it defines the guidelines for the Gender Equality Management System, which is based on the concepts of diversity and inclusion, fostering a gender equality culture, preventing discriminatory practices and increasing the company’s inclusive practices.

The System requires that the effectiveness of the actions undertaken be measured using six areas of indicators:

  • Culture and Strategy;
  • Governance;
  • HR processes;
  • Opportunities for growth and inclusion of women in business;
  • Gender pay equity;
  • Parental protection and work-life balance.

Iris Ceramica Group has set up a Steering Committee for Gender Equality, consisting of key figures in the organisation, who monitor and regularly promote gender equality policies in the company. All staff have the possibility to contact the committee to obtain clarifications and report gender equality issues, also anonymously using the “whistleblowing” procedure.

This important certification bears witness to Iris Ceramica Group’s constant commitment to creating a fair, inclusive working environment that respects gender diversity.
