IRIS CERAMICA GROUP AT THE WORKSHOP OF BOCCONI UNIVERSITY ABOUT THE PERSPECTIVES OF HYDROGEN
On Tuesday 3rd May Iris Ceramica Group will participate in the workshop entitled “Perspectives of Hydrogen as an Energy Vector” organized by the Smart City Observatory of the Bocconi University of Milan, one of the most prestigious Italian universities worldwide.
The Smart City Observatory conducts research on the smart development of urban infrastructures, services and communities, through a structured activity of study, communication, training and interdisciplinary dissemination of results. The workshop’s aims are to define the role of hydrogen in the decarbonisation strategies of the different sectors and to promote a constructive debate on the current support background for hydrogen in Italy, as well as its applications also in the urban field, through the dialogue between experts and entrepreneurs.
At 12.10pm Federica Minozzi, CEO of Iris Ceramica Group will be taking part in the round table entitled “Applications in Mobility and Productive Activities” as an authoritative voice from the manufacturing world that invests in eco-innovation. A concrete example of Iris Ceramica Group’s constant research to find alternative energy sources to natural gas is the project for the realization of the first ceramic factory in the world powered by green hydrogen.
