“CERAMICS: NEVERENDING ARTWORKS”: THE IRIS CERAMICA GROUP EXHIBITION IN MILAN
At the Flagship Store in Milan, in via Santa Margherita 4, Iris Ceramica Group has organised and is promoting the exhibition “Ceramics: Neverending Artworks”, developed in partnership with the gallery Antonia Jannone Disegni di Architettura.
The Vernissage will be held on 20 December 2021 to present the event to the press and a selection of guests.
From 10 January to 18 February, from Monday to Friday, the Flagship Store will be open to the public – by appointment and with regulated access according to anti-Covid19 regulations in force – and, through the exhibition “Ceramics: Neverending Artworks”, will be talking about the eclectic nature of ceramics, a living material that is able to interpret aesthetic, artistic and manufacturing visions running from art to design.
On display are 23 ceramic works, created by twelve artists and selected by Iris Ceramica Group, each one exalting their constituent materials, upturning their aesthetics to give them new meanings.
On display artworks by Aldo Cibic, Alessandro Mendini, Andrea Branzi, Ettore Sottsass, George Sowden, Luigi Serafini, Marco Zanini, Martine Bedin, Matteo Thun, Michele de Lucchi, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Peter Shire.
The constant research into uniqueness and beauty are the inspiring principles of Iris Ceramica Group which, just like the designers whose works are on display, enhances the aesthetic and technical properties of ceramics, re-engineering them with a view to the unconventional. Knowing that new design needs lead to technical challenges offering a unique potential that was once not even imaginable.
