LETTER FROM FEDERICA MINOZZI

Dear Colleagues,

2020 promises to be a special year and is, in fact, proving to be somewhat challenging.

Whilst our Group is ready to seize the complex opportunities which the international market presents, with an innovative, pragmatic, targeted and effective approach, we are aware that solidarity and teamwork are crucial factors in the success of every single venture.

SALES & MARKETING

The Group continues its market penetration strategy through launching Group showrooms which showcase the superb quality of our products, inspiring customers with superior quality designs.

Following on from our success in London, we are opening a new showroom in the center of Milan, on via Santa Margherita 4.

The approximately 600 sq.m. gallery will officially open and welcome the public during Il Salone del Mobile.

At the same time, we have also decided to feature collections from Iris/Iris Diesel/FMG brands at FAB Berlin. The showroom has therefore changed its appearance and name to Iris Ceramica Group Berlin, thus helping to create a network of showrooms consistently aligned with Group strategy aimed at demonstrating our ability to offer an immense variety of design solutions for modern architecture.

The Group continues its participation at the sector’s leading international trade fairs. Batimat Paris, IMM Cologne, The International Surface Event and KBIS, Las Vegas, are some examples of a lengthy and full calendar of trade fair events, at which we play a central role due to the visual impact of the exhibition, innovative and superior quality products, and solutions offered.

TRAINING

Our Human Resources Development Center training program began with the first two courses aimed at enhancing leadership, negotiation and emotional intelligence skills.

Your enthusiasm in taking part in these initial courses reassures me that this is a mutual and positive step in the right direction.

This is just the beginning of an extensive program of courses aimed at ongoing professional and personal development for each of us.

FOUNDATION

The newly established Foundation is engaged in forging significant partnerships with local authorities and other foundations both in Italy and beyond, aimed at supporting our deeply held values and underlying principles.

In 2020 we are organizing a road show in Italy, in line with our commitment to the particularly sensitive issues of support for children and the more vulnerable sectors of our society, environmental protection and promotion of a healthy sports ethos.

From 20 to 22 March we will meet young delegates from the UNESCO ITALIAN YOUTH FORUM to investigate issues relating to environmental and social sustainability.

At the same time, the event will bring together the Modena students and Stephen Ritz, award-winning South Bronx educator who pioneered the Green Bronx Machine, which aims to increase school attendance and improve the quality of nutrition among younger people.

I firmly believe our future lies in the hands of the younger generation, and our duty is to raise awareness and provide an opportunity to build a better world together.
